While we are steeped in the FenderĀ® heritage, and well known for it – we LOVE the British flavors as well. So when a request came in to make the perfect British flavored version of a JTM45 – we did just that. And it was so well received (by local musicians, the customer, and ourselves) that we had to make it into a production unit.
And thus, the Continental was born.
It’s British, it’s a little bit Fullerton – and it’s a TON of dynamic tone in a 30 watt English presentation – with the perfect mods to round out a circuit borrowing on a classic.

Longbeard LLC is proud to introduce the “Longbeard Does Leo Clone Shop.” These classic amps will be built as close to the original Leo Fender designs as possible with new, brand-name, top-quality components including Mallory, Sprague, and Switchcraft.
